The Elementals are very ancient nature sprits; they are forms of energy which represent the Elements Earth, Air, Fire and Water, believed to be the building blocks of all life.
To witches they are likened to a bridge they are the guardians or gatekeepers of all natural knowledge and they exist throughout the elemental realm, but sadly when they come to us they remain outside our visible light spectrum and remain invisible to the most of us. We call upon them to aid us in our spell work or simply ask for their guidance, and it is through our own sprit that resides within us that we able to call upon and communicate with them.
There are some that believe that when we or any life force dies this is where our consciousness and memories go to and joins as one with the elementals, and acting together they form as a hive mind consisting of collective consciousness of knowledge.
