71The Power of Persistence

Persistence is often one of the most important factors behind success. Many people achieve meaningful results not because things happen instantly, but because they continue believing in their desired outcome even when changes are not immediately visible.

In practices involving mindset, visualization, or personal transformation, persistence refers to maintaining focus on a chosen reality or goal. Instead of constantly questioning whether something is working, the idea is to allow the thought or feeling of success to continue naturally. By repeatedly returning to the belief that the desired outcome already exists, the mind becomes aligned with that reality.

Some approaches teach persistence as a separate step, encouraging people to continuously hold certain thoughts or emotions in their minds. However, persistence can also develop naturally when a person fully accepts the possibility of change. Once someone mentally steps into a new reality, there is less need to force emotions or constantly repeat affirmations. The feeling tends to remain on its own because it begins to feel normal and real.

This approach can be especially useful during difficult situations. For example, when working toward better health, personal growth, or emotional healing, visible results may not appear immediately. In those moments, persistence means continuing to trust the process rather than returning to fear or doubt. Instead of focusing on the problem, attention remains on the belief that the issue has already been resolved.

Over time, this consistent mindset can create a noticeable shift. In many cases, people find that problems gradually fade away without being able to identify the exact moment the change occurred. The key idea is not to struggle to “make” something happen, but to calmly continue living with the feeling that the desired outcome is already complete.

Persistence, therefore, is less about forcing belief and more about remaining connected to a chosen reality until it naturally becomes part of everyday life.
