Begin by identifying a person who possesses a physical ability that is admired or desired. This could be someone with exceptional flexibility, athletic performance, graceful movement, strong balance, or ease in performing everyday physical tasks. The individual does not need to be present; simply forming a clear mental image of them is enough.
Find a quiet place where there will be no interruptions. Sit or stand comfortably and take a few moments to relax. Once calm and focused, imagine holding two spheres of energy in front of you. The sphere in the left hand represents yourself, while the sphere in the right hand represents the person whose abilities you admire. These spheres can appear as glowing energy, symbolic images, or miniature representations of each individual.
Focus on a single quality that you would like to develop. It may be flexibility, speed, coordination, endurance, balance, or another physical attribute. Imagine reaching into the sphere representing the other person and selecting that specific quality. Rather than taking it away, visualize creating a copy of the attribute and placing it into your own sphere.
Repeat this process for each desired characteristic. Concentrate only on the specific abilities being developed rather than attempting to copy every aspect of the other person. The purpose is to focus attention on clearly defined strengths and qualities.
When all desired attributes have been transferred, spend a few moments observing the sphere that represents yourself. Imagine these qualities already becoming part of your physical abilities. Notice how it feels to move with greater ease, confidence, and capability.
To complete the exercise, imagine both spheres gently dissolving into the surrounding space. Release any expectation of immediate results and allow the visualization to settle naturally. Throughout the day, continue to hold a positive image of yourself possessing and expressing the abilities that were selected during the exercise.
