Bring the person you wish to focus on clearly into your imagination. Picture them as healthy, energetic, and well. Imagine a small image of them directly in front of you in this healthy state. Around this image, visualize a sphere of protective energy. The color of the sphere can be any shade that personally represents health, safety, or vitality.
Imagine holding this sphere gently with both hands. In front of you is the present moment, while a timeline stretches to the left into the past and to the right into the future. See the sphere resting in the “now” section of this timeline.
Slowly begin moving the sphere toward the future along the timeline. As it moves, continue focusing only on the image of the person remaining healthy and strong. If distracting thoughts or images appear—such as illness or discomfort—simply replace them with the preferred image of wellbeing. The purpose is to reinforce a steady mental picture of health and resilience.
Continue guiding the sphere forward until it passes beyond any situations that may feel uncertain or concerning. Imagine the person moving through all of those moments while remaining completely well.
Once the sphere reaches the desired point in the future, pause and observe the timeline from the present to that future moment. See the person maintaining health and balance throughout the entire path.
Finally, release the sphere and let go of any tension or worry connected to the situation. Allow the exercise to feel complete, carrying forward a sense of calm confidence and reassurance.
